Acting

After a lucky break playing the title role in the feature film “Alex” at the age of 15, Lauren went on to train as an actor at Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School, where she developed her love of theatre. Since graduating, Lauren has worked for 30+ as an actor across all media with roles ranging from policewoman Steph Kelly in feature film “Perfect Creature” to Liz the music tutor in Auckland Theatre Company’s 2024 production, “Red, White and Brass”. Working in wonderful teams with dear friends to tell excellent stories - that’s when Lauren is at her happiest as an actor. ​
